Product Information
This Multi-Layer Protection (MLP) gasket is multi-layered stainless steel. Designed to increase strength, resistance to corrosion and the ability to rebound.
Outer layers of the gaskets are embossed and coated with Viton a flouroelastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250C / 482F.
The middle shim layer is a uncoated stainless steel layer which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.
Perfect for aluminium heads to aluminium blocks and aluminium heads to cast iron blocks withstanding the shearing force created by the two materials.
